Innovative Idea Kick-Off Event – Fall 2017

The 2017 Winners of the Business Plan Competition at SNU Tahoe hold their checks with pride.

Students present the Unique Selling Proposition of an idea to address an existing problem or market opportunity. Ten winners each receive $50. All students are encouraged to incorporate the judges' feedback and begin to meet with a faculty mentor to conceptualize their idea into a business proposition.

Sierra Nevada College is modifying the academic calendar beginning in the Fall of 2019. This new adjustment will provide students with more time to complete summer jobs and internships, while offering a unique immersion opportunity in the classroom for field courses and classes of interest. Provost Shannon Beets will be introducing the new academic calendar. A question/answer session will follow the introduction, with free pizza for all those who attend!
