The SNC Perspectives On Design Award rewards exceptional student artists with an incentive to continue to focus on art making after graduation, provides them with a venue to exhibit their new work, and affirms their contributions to a vibrant regional and national artistic community.
The award, presented at Commencement each year, recognizes extraordinary graduating artist(s) from the Bachelors of Fine Arts program with a stipend of $2,500 to offset the costs of art supplies and incidentals related to art making during the year following graduation. The work produced during this post-graduate Award Year is showcased the following year at the annual P.O.D. Exhibition.
