Adjunct Faculty in Math
The Science and Technology Department at Sierra Nevada University is seeking applications for adjunct faculty members to teach the following courses beginning Fall 2015:
- MATH 101: Math Reasoning (three sections)
- MATH 110: College Algebra (one section)
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in an appropriate discipline – one that emphasized quantitative reasoning.
- Willingness to create a classroom environment that emphasizes active engagement, mathematical applications, and the use of technology (such as spreadsheets or Wolfram|Alpha).
Compensation: According to the adjunct faculty pay scale.
