Adjunct Faculty in Humanities
The Department of Humanities at Sierra Nevada University will have an opening for a philosophy instructor in two areas:
PHIL 101: Introduction to Philosophy – Examination of the basic questions of philosophy and consideration of some of the answers philosophers have provided from the pre-Socratics to the present.
PHIL 400: Senior Ethics – approaches ethics from both an historical and a contemporary perspective. This course addresses how we should live, both individually and as a society.
Hold an MA or equivalent in philosophy, humanities, or related fields
Should have some experience teaching at college level
