EMBODIED PLACE: Reception & Panel

EMBODIED PLACE: Observations + Notations is a juried group exhibition featuring 20 international artists that builds on the conversation of creative problem solving and embodied place. The panel discussion, moderated by Amy Franceschini, features Ignacio Chapela (UC Berkeley), Wendy Baroli (GirlFarm), Geoffrey Holstad and Mary Rothlisberger (Cabin-Time) and SNC’s Jared Stanley.

Info Session – MEd & MAA

The Clark County School District is currently experiencing a severe teacher shortage! The Master of Education (MEd) and the Master of Arts in Administration (MAA) programs, for credentialed teachers, lead to both a master’s degree and advanced endorsement (“Administrator of a School” or “Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)”) in as little as 20 months. Come meet some of our faculty and learn about the program’s requirements, cost and schedule flexibility.

Workshops this semester will focus on program research, supplemental materials, and strong personal statements. These meetings will consist of informal conversations regarding graduate school  applications. Students attending these meetings will be encouraged to bring questions they might have regarding the admissions process, standardized tests, and personal statements.
