Annual Tahoe Poetry Slam

Sierra Nevada College presents the eighth annual Tahoe Poetry Slam. The evening’s MC is Poetry Slam champion and audience favorite Pan Pantoja. The evening is popular with high school, college and poetry enthusiasts and involves active audience participation and judging. Come early to get a good seat. The event will be raucous fun – don’t miss it! There are cash prizes for the top three competitors, and the winner of the competition is crowned Tahoe Slam Champion of the Year.

SNC’s psychology research fair showcases independent research in psychology. At this fourth annual fair, students will present posters detailing the results of campus-wide studies on human behavior conducted during the 2013-2014 year. Poster topics include (but are not limited to) the impact of instructor appearance and behavior on student performance, emotions in text messaging, and charitable donations.
