Join Sierra Nevada College for our “Team Eagle” rally ride during the 2018 Tour de Tahoe!
Put on your custom event jersey (see above!) and join your fellow Team Eagles and hundreds of fellow riders for this one-day fun circumnavigation of Lake Tahoe during our best fall weather. Team Captain President Dr. Alan Walker, an avid touring cyclist, is not taking the Tour de Tahoe lightly!

Can't make the dinner? Packets can also be picked up in TCES Rm 108 (the Institutional Advancement Office) on the SNC Tahoe Campus from 9am to 5:30pm on Friday, September 7. Watch for a “Know Before You Go” e-mail full of FAQ, coming to an inbox near you a few days before the event.

The 72-mile Tour de Tahoe – Bike Big Blue circumnavigates Lake Tahoe clockwise on highways 50, 89, and 28 through California and Nevada, at altitudes ranging from 6,300' to 7,100' above sea level. It includes a challenging 800-foot climb to a rest stop overlooking Emerald Bay, a 1,000-foot climb to Spooner Junction, and over 4,024 vertical feet of elevation gain! The ride is recommended for conditioned recreational cyclists, not for beginners. Participants must be at least 14 years of age (no children, please) and must be experienced in riding roadways.
Proceeds will support the SNC Tahoe Fund, which helps underwrite student programming and opportunities at the college.
