“To My Brother” – POD Exhibition
August 30 - September 28
Artist: Collyn Aubrey
This exhibition is a collection of artifacts from the artist’s personal therapeutic processes. “To My Brother” examines Collyn Ahren’s experiences with the lack of communication and certainty she experienced when her brother was sent away to US Army Basic Combat Training. She combines her family background with religious imagery and tactical games such as Paintball to question where the line is drawn between play and combat.
