PBS TeacherLine

Co-enroll with Sierra Nevada College to get graduate academic credit for many of the PBS TeacherLine Professional Development courses.

PBS TeacherLine offers high quality, standards-based graduate-level professional development courses for teachers in an accessible online format. Courses are independent study, with specific start and end dates; sessions start regularly throughout the year.

Credits & Cost:

Total Cost = PBS TeacherLine course fee + SNC graduate credit fee
SNC Graduate Credit Fee: $75/credit
Credit Conversion: each 15 hours PBS = 1 semester hour credit. (PBS courses under 15 hours are not eligible for credit.)

Payment:

Full payment is required at the time of enrollment by PBS and SIERRA NEVADA COLLEGE.
Refunds: A refund will only be issued if you notify Jane Rainwater at jrainwater@sierranevada.edu of your withdrawal before 5:00 pm on the first day of class.


Register for a PBS Teacherline Course

Step 1 – Go to PBS TeacherLine’s website, browse their CATALOG for the course you would like to take, then register and pay the PBS course fee on their website.

Step 2 – After you have enrolled on the PBS TeacherLine website, REGISTER BELOW for Sierra Nevada College’s graduate credit. (NOTE: SNC’s graduate credit fee is in addition to the cost of the PBS course.)

Step 3 – When you submit your registration below you will receive an automated receipt for your credit card payment. Within two to three business days you will also receive a confirmation email.
