Student Accounts and Billing
Every student has unique financial needs. Here at Sierra Nevada College we do our best to accommodate those needs. As part of our educational program, we are available to help students understand the financial responsibilities of their Student Account.
All charges, including tuition, housing, meals, bookstore and other charges placed by various departments on campus are placed on what we call your Student Account. The student account is simply our record of student’s charges and payment to the college.
Pay Your Bill
Payments can be made to your Student Account in a variety of ways:
- Our Online Payment Portal
- Mail in a check to; Sierra Nevada College, Attn: Student Accounts, 999 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village, NV, 89451.
- In-Person at the above address, David Hall Bldg, Room 201. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
- Phone in credit card payments; call 775 – 881 – 7428.

SNCSIS stands for the Sierra Nevada College Student Information System. This is where you will find your class schedule, bill, financial aid information and more. Sierra Nevada Financial Aid and Student Accounts are paperless. Using SNCSIS provides you with real-time data at any time and helps keep us environmentally friendly.

Your username is your student number and your password starts out as your six digit birth date.
Student Account FAQs
Q – When do I have to pay tuition, etc?
A - Tuition is due no later than the first day of instruction. It is also policy to charge interest on student account balances after the due date. As a courtesy, interest will not be assessed at month end in August but will be charged beginning month ending September at a rate of 2% per month. When reviewing your student account, we take into consideration current pre-approved payment arrangements and financial aid.
Q – How can I check my balance?
A - Your account is accessible 24/7 on SNCSIS.
Q – Do you have a payment plan?
A - Yes, Sierra Nevada College offers payment plans with 3, 4 and 5 payments to help students and families who would like to spread out their semester charges. Enroll in a payment plan HERE.
Q – I have my own medical insurance. Why am I being charged the “Student Insurance Premium”?
A - We are required to ensure that every undergrad student has medical insurance so it is put on every student account. If you do have your own insurance, you will need to complete the Student Insurance Waiver.
Q – I do not own a car. Why am I being charged the “Parking Permit Fee”?
A – Every student is charged for a parking permit. However, if you do not own a car, you can simply fill out a Parking Waiver.
Q – Do you send Student Bills out?
A - Prior to the beginning of a semester we send the “Student Schedule/Bill” to all students using the “Billing Address” we have been given. For the remainder of the semester, we send electronic bills on a monthly basis. E-Bills are available to view on SNCSIS.
Q – How do I contact someone about my Student Account?
A - The most efficient method is via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please leave the following information:
- Student Account number
- A brief description of the issue so we can do the research before we contact you
- Both daytime and nighttime telephone numbers
