Homecoming & Reunion 2015
Since when do we have a Homecoming?
SNC launched its Spring Homecoming tradition in 2013, anchored by the return of our championship winter sports teams. This year promises to be an even bigger success, with activities on campus and in the community for alumni, students, and friends of the college.
Spend a memorable weekend reuniting with classmates, your College, and Lake Tahoe at the official reunion celebration during Homecoming Weekend, April 9 – 12, 2015.
The SNC Athletics Hall of Fame
The Sierra Nevada College winter athletics programs have claimed a staggering 300-plus USCSA championships since the first alpine ski teams were formed in 1990, and SNC has been home to many former – and future – Olympians and accomplished professional athletes. During Homecoming, help induct this year’s honorees into our Athletics Hall of Fame.
If you are an Anniversary Alumnus this year is a special reunion year for you and your class, and Sierra Nevada College is marking it with special programming, including commemorative anniversary gifts, event discounts, a VIP dinner at the College’s Home for the President, and recognition at the Ski and Snowboard Banquet and the Homecoming Lacrosse Games.
How do I know if this is my Anniversary Alumni Reunion?
Several new Alumni Clubs have formed and are active now, including groups that meet by phone and online. Special interest groups such as Entrepreneurship, Ski Industry, Teaching, and Writing are all building momentum. Find us on LinkedIn and Facebook, or email Jenn Johnson to find a meeting.
More Reunion and Homecoming information is being released daily, so update your information with SNC to receive the most up to date news.
Regardless of how long it’s been since you have been to Tahoe, your reunion is the perfect reason to return. See you this spring!
