Eagles Sweep First NorCal USCSA Competition

The Sierra Nevada College Eagles, 2014 defending National Champions, dominated their first 2015 Northern California USCSA event Jan. 18 & 19, when the alpine, snowboard, and freeski teams all brought home the win at Diamond Peak.

2014 High School Writing Contest Winners Announced

The awards have been announced for the 5th Annual High School Writing Contest, a national competition which honors high school juniors and seniors in the categories of creative nonfiction, fiction and poetry. The winning submissions were chosen from a record 525 entries from across the United States. The winners receive a cash prize, a $20,000 scholarship offer from SNC, and consideration for publication in the Sierra Nevada Review.
