The Department of Business program is focused on a real-world approach. That’s because in this major, you’ll do everything except sit behind a desk.
Our programs are designed to get you out of the classroom and into the real-world as soon as possible. Our students intern at such places as Paine-Weber/UBS, the Energy Conservation Department, the Sierra Angels (a venture capital firm), Prim Associates, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, and Deep Distributors. Several of our internship opportunities have resulted into permanent career placements for our students.
In addition to their academic training, our professors have extensive business experience, and you'll get a top-notch education built on solid business principles — taught by people who've actually practiced what they're teaching.
Students enjoy small class sizes equipped with high-tech facilities and interaction with faculty who not only have degrees from the country's finest institutions, but who also have served as senior managers and partners in Fortune 500 and other top companies.
The educational background of our faculty includes degrees from University of California at Davis, Stanford University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, The Wharton School of Business, George Washington University, Fairleigh-Dickinson University, and other prominent colleges around the world.
