EA@SNC Tahoe working sessions are held on the first Wednesday of every month. Each monthly session provides an opportunity for you to set and accomplish new goals in moving your business forward. Students and community members with business ideas and businesses that need help are welcome to attend. The event is also open to potential mentors. During the sessions you receive support from experienced mentors and peers on your business.

Outdoor Education – AIARE 1

January 13 - January 16

AIARE LEVEL 1 – INTRO TO WINTER BACKCOUNTRY SKILLS This class includes the nationally recognized AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) Level 1 curriculum. Learn to recognize and assess avalanche hazardous conditions, choose appropriate terrain and safe travel techniques, and perform avalanche rescues. The course provides a framework for decision-making and risk management in avalanche terrain through both classroom instruction and field experience.
