Trepp Business Plan Competition

The Trepp Competition encourages student entrepreneurs to envision tomorrow’s business improvements, and provides the resources – including education, networking, team creation, and mentorship – to help turn innovative ideas into economically sustainable realities. The $6,750 in cash prizes will encourage these teams continue to the prestigious Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup.

Out of the Classroom and Into Africa

Students and faculty will recount the challenges and achievements of the 2013 South Africa Service Learning Project in a conversation and discussion moderated by President Lynn G. Gillette. For three weeks this past summer, 22 SNC students lived and worked in the Hoedspruit area of South Africa.  They partnered with local communities surrounding the Thornybush Reserve.  Leveraging their creativity, entrepreneurial know-how, and their physical labor, they worked side-by-side with local residents.  Leaving their comfort zone behind, they learned important things…

Trepp Innovative Idea Kick-Off Event

Ski Business & Resort Management (SBRM) Master Plan Competition

This inaugural competition will showcase the top three mountain master plans from SBRM 475, with resort plans built from the ground up with utilizing $65,000,000 budgets. The winning team will earn $500. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend!
