Lecture: The Origin of Ethics with Dr. Milton D. Heifetz

The SNC and local community are invited to attend an open lecture by Dr. Milton Heifetz on The Origin of Ethics on April 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in TCES 139/141.

Dr. Heifetz has served in a variety of capacities at a number of institutions, including Visiting Professor of Neurological Surgery (Harvard Medical School), Adjunct Professor of Law (Boston College Law School), Visiting Scholar, Moral Philosophy (Oxford University), and Chairman, Department of Neurological Surgery (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center). He is also the author of The Right to Die (New York: Putnam, 1975), Easier Said Than Done: Moral Decisions in Medical Uncertainty (Buffalo: Prometheus, 1992), A Walk Through the Heavens: A Guide to Stars and Constellations and Their Legends (Cambridge University Press, 2000), and Sexuality, Curiosity, Fear and the Arts: the Biology of Aesthetics (New York: Peter Lang Publishing, 2001).

After his lecture, Dr. Heifetz will entertain questions on ethics and all related subjects.
