Dean of Students and Director of Student Activities & Student Affairs
Student Government Association (SGA) exists to be the official voice of the student body at Sierra Nevada College. All undergraduate students are members of the SGA. The student body elects the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Senate President, and Sustainability Chair each Spring. The elected officers serve to represent student voice for matters concerning the administration of the college and local community.

President: MeiLi C. LeRoy
MeiLi LeRoy is a 22-year-old married lady from Oakland, California. In addition to being a senior majoring in Ski Business & Resort Management, MeiLi is currently the HR Assistant Manager and a Strategies Mentor at SNC. She aspires to own and manage a hotel in Switzerland with her husband. They currently live in Incline Village and are hoping to adopt their first pet, a beagle, in the near future.
Vice President: Marina McCoy
Marina McCoy is extremely passionate about creating community on and off campus. She ultimately achieves this through clubs. Being the Vice President of SGA, Marina is in charge of helping clubs host events and hold meetings, as well as taking the time to meet with each and every club to make sure that they conduct their club in a respectable manner. Formally the SGA’s Sustainability Chair, Marina is excited to be the new Vice President!
Secretary: Ryan Donoghue
Ryan is a spirited English major finishing his junior year at SNC this fall. Ryan will continue to serve students as a mentor this year in addition to his position on SGA’s executive board. Ryan is a proud contributing member of the Sierra Nevada Review staff as well as the Men’s Golf Team. Living in Tahoe fuels his passion for the outdoors as much as it encourages a deeper exploration of himself.
Treasurer: Austin Farina
A southern California native, Austin Farina is excited about his first year as SGA Treasurer and third year as a part of the SGA team. Austin is also excited to return to the Men’s Lacrosse team for the third year. He is currently a junior majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. He hopes to pursue his dream of becoming a sports therapist after graduation.
Sustainability Chair: Jack Witt
Jack Witt was born and raised in the Bay Area. He enjoys playing lacrosse in his free time.
Director of Events: Nicole Ross
Nicole lived in many different places when she was younger, but is pleased to now call both Irvine, California and Incline Village home. In addition to being the Director of Events, Nicole also works as an English tutor and an assistant at SNC’s Office of Development. Nicole plans on graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in English. Soon after, she hopes to attend graduate school to earn a teaching credential and a Master of Arts in Teaching to become and English teacher.
Director of PR: Giulianna Crivello
Giulianna is a second year students at SNC and is originally from San Diego, California. She is currently working on a double major in Entrepreneurship and Finance/Economics. She is a member of the Honors Program and the Cross Country team, even though she hates running. Her hobbies include napping, eating ice cream, being friendly, and publicly relating.
SGA Advisor: Will Hoida
A graduate of Cal Poly, San Louis Obispo, Will has been working in the Student Affairs department at SNC for over nine years and has served as the Advisor to SGA for over seven years. He has held positions as the Residence Hall Manager, Student Activities Coordinator, Outdoor Programs Director, and, most recently, Dean of Students. He loves working with students and living in Lake Tahoe. His favorite sports include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and kayaking.
