I was born in Switzerland and moved to Vermont when I was an infant. I started skiing on the icy slopes of Mount Mansfield when I was two years old; since then skiing has become more natural to me than walking. Living in Vermont has taught me a great respect for nature and that any problem can be solved with a down-to-earth mindset. I decided to move to Tahoe because I could not think of a more beautiful place to go to school, and because of the snow, of course. I am studying Sustainability because our society needs to find better ways to sustain itself than by creating nuclear waste dumps and sanctioning away oil from other countries.
