Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) announced that Sierra Nevada College’s Kendra Wong has been selected as one of the 2013 NCET Faculty Advisors of the Year. This award recognizes Nevada college and university educators who have made significant contributions to the Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition. David Croasdell (University of Nevada, Reno) and Dr. Andrew Hardin (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) were also recognized by NCET.
Kendra Wong has mentored business plan teams in the Jâlé and Warren Trepp Business Plan Competition at SNC for the past three years. She began her career with PricewaterCoopers, LLP in their audit practice. At PwC, she was exposed to numerous industries, including venture capital and life science. Since leaving PwC, Kendra has worked in the ski resort, medical device, and power industries. Kendra earned her MBA from Arizona State University and B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. Kendra maintains an active CPA license in California.
