It wasn’t until the end of my sophomore year of high school when I realized I couldn’t live without the mountains. When it was time to apply to colleges, I made sure every school I applied too was located near the mountains. During my research, I stumbled upon Sierra Nevada College.
Being a full-time local here in Lake Tahoe has been more than a blessing for me, and being able to continue my schooling career here at SNC has been one too.
I decided to move to Tahoe because I could not think of a more beautiful place to go to school, and because of the snow, of course. I am studying Sustainability because our society needs to find better ways to sustain itself than by creating nuclear waste dumps and sanctioning away oil from other countries.
