Coach Holly Atkins
Coach Atkins has always been a part of team sports and a team leader. Holly played varsity lacrosse and varsity ice hockey in high school, and was the captain of both teams her junior and senior years. While attending Middlebury College, Holly played varsity women’s ice hockey and JV lacrosse within Division III NESCAC, and volunteered as assistant coach for the local high school’s varsity women’s ice hockey team. She was awarded the NESCAC Sportsmanship Award for her teamwork for the ice hockey team.
Playing sports at the college varsity level introduced her to the mentality of coaching and leading a team from an “off-the-field” perspective. Holly is extremely excited about the lacrosse season and the unlimited potential of the Lady Eagles.
Holly is from Vermont, but loves every second of life in Tahoe. While she is not at work, she enjoys running, especially on the trail, cross country skiing, biking, travelling, and playing pick-up ice hockey with friends. She has also blogged for a holistic health company in San Francisco, one outlet for her passion for holistic living and healthy and sustainable cooking and eating.
