2012 USCSA Men and Women’s National Champions

The SNC ski team has established a long standing tradition of winning at the college. Led by world-class skiers from around the globe, the men’s and women’s teams have managed to compile more than twenty-three USCSA National Championships in Slalom and Giant Slalom. The team also competes regularly in FIS events in the Tahoe basin, Mammoth, Park City and Minnesota. After graduating, several team members have gone back to their home countries to make their respective Olympic teams. The team’s success hinges on great recruiting, but also convenient access to local training areas. Diamond Peak, the team’s home mountain, is less than five minutes from the Incline Village campus. Our ski team is not only a source of school pride, but also a core of student leadership in academics—ski team members boast some of the best GPA’s at SNC. We take in pride in winning as it sets a standard for excellence at SNC.
