Adjunct Faculty in Humanities & Soc. Sciences

The Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Sierra Nevada College is now accepting adjunct applications from qualified instructors in the following fields:
  1. English composition and ESL; Linguistics.
  2. Philosophy—broad topical and historical abilities highly desirable.
  3. Psychology—we are concentrating our search for those trained in developmental, personality and/or ecological psychology and open to an emphasis on cognition and neuroscience in their courses. Flexibility and versatility in terms of teaching experience and capability are valued.
  4. History—candidates with a strong command all periods of history, especially from a Big History perspective.
