How to turn off Pop-up blocker for the Online Admissions Application

PC - Internet Explorer: Turn off Pop-up Blocker

1.) In Internet Explorer go to the Tools Menu > Pop-up Blocker > Turn Off Pop-up Blocker*

*Note: Your Pop-up blocker will remain off until you turn it back on. To temporarily allow Pop-ups see the next slide

PC - Internet Explorer: Temporary allow Pop-ups

1.) If you run into the above error, you can click the message (where it says 'click here' to view the above options. Select 'Temporarily Allow Pop-ups' to temporarily allow the application to pop-up this go around.

PC - FireFox: Turn off Pop-up Blocker (step 1)

1.) Go to the Tools menu > Options. An Options window will pop-up. See next slide

1.) In the Contents section of the Options window unselect the 'Block pop-up windows' checkbox.*

2.) Select 'OK' button

*Note: You will have to re-select the 'Block pop-up windows' checkbox when you leave the application site to turn Pop-up blocking back on, if you want to.

Mac - Safari: Turn off Pop-up Blocker

1.) Go to the Safari menu > unselect 'Block Pop-up windows'*

2.) Go to the Safari menu > select Preferences > uncheck the 'Block Pop-up windows' check box*

*Note: You will have to re-select 'Block pop-up windows' when you leave the application site to turn Pop-up blocking back on, if you want to.
