Scholarship Opportunities

Sierra Nevada College offers generous academic scholarships. Just submit an Application for Admission and we’ll automatically consider you for the following scholarships:

  • Millennium Plus Scholars Award - $12,500 for Four Years (50,000)

One of the founding principles of the Guinn Millennium Scholarships was to provide the opportunity for Nevada’s best and brightest students to remain in-state. This Millennium Plus Scholars Award—the first of its kind in the state—will create an added benefit for Nevada’s Millennium Scholars, as well as a further incentive for them to remain in Nevada.

Students are awarded Guinn Millennium Scholarship recipient status upon graduating from a Nevada high school with a 3.25 grade point average and completing a rigorous high school curriculum. Students interested in receiving Sierra Nevada College’s Millennium Plus Scholars Award—which supplements the Guinn Millennium Scholarship—will need to meet the Nevada state scholarship eligibility requirements, which are officially determined in the summer after graduation (high school counselors can tentatively award the Millennium Plus Scholars Award based on the student’s transcript). Click here to apply.
